Dr. Berg worked diligently to implement a patient portal called NextMD at Healthline Medical Group that promotes email communication (that complies between Healthline’s patients and and our professional staff. However, many patients found that the patient portal was too cumbersome to use and therefore practice, as well as on a national level was rather poor. Therefore Dr. Berg implemented our preferred communication tool called Klara. This communication tool is a secure texting-based software application that allows patients to easily communicate with our staff regarding any issues that need our attention. The patient response has been fabulous and the utilization vastly improved over the Portal.
