Dear Valued Patient,
We have received verification from the Los Angeles County Public Health Department that we have been certified to receive COVID-19 vaccines and provide our patients with the required immunization series. However, since our patient population is not in the Tier I category of critical healthcare workers in the hospital setting, or in the convalescent care setting, we are not in the first tier of facilities who are currently providing the vaccine.
We do not have the necessary refrigeration requirements for the Pfizer vaccine and most likely will have to wait for the Moderna vaccines to arrive. We are hoping to have them by March, or sooner, but we have no definitive timeline and have no control over the delivery of those vaccines to our office. We plan to let our patients know if we receive the vaccine sooner.
For any of our patients who are healthcare workers, 1st line emergency responders, or age 65 or older, you can get an appointment for a Covid-19 vaccine by registering on line at the following website:
Please pay close attention to new releases from our Los Angeles County Health department where you may have access to the Covid-19 vaccine at a sooner date than when we can provide you with the vaccine.
We hope that you stay safe and best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year.
